Just For Kids And Parents Too!

Being a teacher, I am always looking for great educational and fun websites for children of all ages. Here are some sites that contain a wealth of information...

Linkasaurus - A very large list of links to childrens websites

National Wildlife Federation -  Ranger Rick, kids games, and facts for animal lovers.

Discovery Science -  Discovery Kids features educational information on animals and encourages an interest in science.

Lego.com - Tips and ideas building with Legos, games, and movies.

Aunt Annie's Crafts -  Projects includes illustrated step-by-step instructions, patterns to print in a variety of designs, crafting tips, related Web links, and suggested book resources.

4kids.org - This site can be used by children or parents, and contains online games helping children learn math, language arts, vocabulary, and thinking skills.

Disney Junior - For parents of children ages two to five a database of activities. Help children build academic skills, creativity, self-esteem, a sense of family, ways to express feelings and ideas, ways to help others, and problem solving strategies.

Funbrain - Math and strategy games by age and grade level with separate sites for children, teachers and parents. Funbrain also contains academic quizzes

Cool Math Games - This math learning site features games for strategy, skill, numbers, colors and shapes, logic, memory, reading and spelling, and coloring pages.
